Baby Mika is here! He was born Wednesday night at 10:39pm and weighed 9lbs and 4oz and was 22 inches long! He is a big baby! He is so sweet and content and has the prettiest big, dark blueish-brownish eyes. Here are a few glimpses into his first few days. Mika and Mom!

Emily+Mo=Mika! This is my beautiful sister and her boyfriend Mo. These shots were taken a couple of weeks ago. She is expecting a baby boy tomorrow! Her original due date was August 27, which was 10 days ago! She is being induced tomorrow morning and could not be happier!
Emily, I wish you the best tomorrow and I love you sooo much! I cant wait to meet baby Miiiiiiiiikaaaaaaa!

During the month of June I was a taking a ceramics class to fill one of my upper elective requirements. I completed a “75 Project.” The project consists of 75 pieces and is broken down into plates, bowls, mugs, vases, pitchers, and altered pieces. Here are a few of my completed pieces from the project! 
During the month of July, I took a web design class. In this class I was able to design my own website. There is a link to it at the top and will take you to my portfolio site. It matches the new blog design as well, so be sure and take a look! But now I am done with classes, for two weeks anyways.

This past weekend I attended a beautiful bridal shower for one of my best friends, Liz. The shower was given by her cousin Sarah. Sarah’s theme throughout the shower was mis-matched vintage. Sarah- everything was gorgeous! Liz- Cant wait to celebrate your big day with you and Chris!

Wow! A month has gone by already since my last post! Needless to say, life is busy! A quick update: The apartment is mostly done, just a few minor things left that I want to do to it. And I WILL post photos soon! I went to the beach with my fam at the end of May. And on June 1, I started my ceramics class, which I am enjoying a whole lot. It feels good to create things again! And these photos were taken a month ago at my dad’s birthday while we were waiting to eat at the Cheesecake factory. I love them so I’m posting them. More soon!

Ohmygoodness. Over a month with out a blog post! Lately, life has been super busy! First thing, I finished the semester. And honestly, this whole semester felt like a blur because it was so busy and stressful. But alas, I survived. I also went to the beach for a long weekend. And the big news… I moved into a loft apartment this past weekend! At the moment I am still organizing things, hanging pictures, and getting everything “right.” In the next few days expect photos of our new abode! But for now, some images of life recently.
